Salvation Mountain, a visit that has been nearly 3 years in the making. Long story short, we attempted to come out here a few years back but the traffic was too bad so turned around half way. But this time around as we were staying in the desert we actually made it and no word of a lie it was literally like Christmas day when we pulled up to the site. This place is amazing and is just like the pictures but bigger, in fact its pretty huge. You can walk up the painted yellow brick road to the top and view is epic. There are even rainbow painted caves you can walk inside and explore.
I wanted to shoot this stunning floral co-ord there as colour wise is was a perfect match for the incredible backdrop. The two piece was also ideal for the desert heat, as (no exaggeration) temperatures reach a strong 40˚C+ daily, so clothing that kept you cool was key. But also the fact that you can create x3 outfits out of this co-ord by splitting up the pieces and paring it with something else, is another reason why I love a good two-piece for holiday wear.
