Staying Positive
Staying positive in self isolation is tough. The UK has officially been in lockdown for approx. four weeks. In this short space of time we’ve been bombarded with every news outlet available sharing minute by minute updates. That I have to admit starts to feel you with major anxiety. I’m by no means telling you stop watching/reading/listening to the news but limiting your intake was probably the best thing I’ve done in isolation.
With that being said positivity is what a lot of people (including myself) are striving for at the moment. Appreciating the small things in life has never been so valuable in boosting your mood. So I’ve complied my own gratitude list which includes things I’m grateful for so far in isolation.
Gratitude List
This weather! The sun honestly is an instant mood booster and I’m really enjoying how it’s starting to feel and look like spring.
Speaking of spring. I’m appreciating all that stunning pink blossom gracing my daily walk. Seeing streets lined in pink is one of my favourite things about spring.
Having a good support network. As I already work from home, being with my family during this time has kept me sane. From our daily coffee breaks to Tik Tok video sharing sessions. It has kept some normality to my daily routine. Face-timing / calling friends has also been a major sanity boost, especially knowing that we’re all in this together.
Having a garden. I know there are many people cooped up in apartments with no outdoor space. In fact I’ve never been so grateful to have a space that where I can sit outside freely to soak up those sun rays.

You’re so gorgeous and I am so happy that in this phase of life we haven’t loose hope. We have social media platforms to share our thoughts, meet our family and friends. We must stay positive ❤️
